Hi,
When I go to upload an attachment to a post using the attachments section, it uploads it, but I do not get the option to place inline.
I also cannot drag and drop the image into the post.
Thanks
Mike

Test Reply with a couple more CV-6 USS Enterprise 3D model photos.
That seemed to work fine.
I am using Windows 10 and Google Chrome and nothing fancy

HI Teresa,
Just thinking this might be the link used to tell you about the 'black listing' on 2/11/23.
Can you respond if you get this please.
Thanks
Tony

Teresa is no longer doing a Webmaster role and has not been for a while, so currently if there are any issues, please let me know.
If it a serious technical matter we will get our IT specialist to review and fix.

Hey all, is anyone else having to wait ages for forum pages to load?? Even on my fast gaming PC it takes a good 30 secs to load a page. Only like this for TF72?
Cheers Bruce

Hi Bruce. I agree. Have tested with Chrome and Edge with the same delays. Have also tested with my wife's computer and get same issue. Issue has been around for some time.

Hi All,
Yes I have noticed the delay between pages on the forum.
I had a meeting with Sabina (IT Tech) last week to show her the delay issues so she is now working on the problem.
Kind regards
Haig

Hi Guys,
Sabina has been working on the problem.
It is only on the Forum and not on any other part of the website.
We want to know from your observations - have you noticed that the speed has decreased slowly to what it is now or has it been more sudden (approx 15 to 20 seconds for each action or screen update).
My personal observation is that it has been more sudden in the last 2 months approx.
Please send in your observations as it will help in getting to the solution.
If sudden, from approximately when. The more information the better.
Many thanks.
Haig

Hi Haig,
The issue has been noticed for several months now. These are some of the tests done:
My computer - Windows 11
Using Chrome browser - slow - around 20 seconds
Using Edge browser - slow - around 25 seconds
Turning off VPN slow in both browsers still around 20 - 25 seconds
Turning off anti virus still slow in both browsers
Turning off VPN and antivirus at same time no difference
Connection speed on WiFi at time of test 30mbps down and 10mbps up
On LAN at 90mbps down and 20mbps up still no discernible difference
Wife's computer - Windows 11
Using Chrome browser - slow
Using Edge browser - slow
Turning off anti virus still slow in both browsers
No VPN running
Connection speed 30mbps down 10mbps up
Posting to Forum - Projects - HMAS Encounter have noticed same slow speed loading page but when uploading photos seems quicker.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Chris

Hi Craig,
FYI the page I just uploaded took 28 seconds after using submit function.
Opening the reply to post took 15 seconds. These are pure text, no graphics.
Cheers
Chris

Just hitting reply to this post today took,
28 seconds on my ipad
30 seconds on my iphone
42 seconds on my laptop
And opening didn't reveal the graphics just text, graphics loaded took another minute.
It's only the forum. If I navigate to Mike's recent post about the Triple S running day, that takes about the same length of time to that above.
Forum is really slow.
Cheers
John

Hi Forum users,
I have noticed a slowing down of the Forum, so we are going to have a look at it with respect to restoring its' speed.
Kind Regards

Hi Craig,
See attached error message I have been getting over the last few days. Same browser, same link and no changes. Might provide a clue!
