If your out on or near Sydney Harbour and spot some unfamiliar tugs, it's a new provider of towage services here in Sydney
Smit Lamnalco, an international tug company based in Europe, has positioned two tugs here in Sydney, the Fitzroy and the Diamantina on long-term charter to a local operator, Engage Towing.
Both 62-tonne-bollard-pull Z-Tech type vessels are berthed down in White Bay normally, though I spotted them moving a French cable laying vessel that spent several days in Sydney recently

Mike

Re: New Tugs on Sydney Harbour
I'm sure they were both over here in the west when the Gorgon Project was on. Nice looking tugs.
One day I will finish a ship.

Re: New Tugs on Sydney Harbour
Could be, after all they are leased out, so they go where the business is.
