August 2011 Committee Members Report

With the Fleet Base Victoria members spread over a large area in Victoria and still looking at finding a permanent stretch of water to sail in, we are keeping in contact and up to date with happenings via regular reports which are emailed or posted out to members.

The attached document is the latest document sent out last week on the recent TF72 Committee meeting and available here for members if they misplace their email or post.

Under the section in the report titled PROJECTILES, it stated that John Slater "is currently acting as a distributor of some of the torpedo systems being sought for approval for use by some members and therefore actively vying for their use within the club."

I was under the misunderstanding that John was a distributor and I have since been informed that this is not correct.

I sincerely appologise to John for any issues this misunderstanding and any inferences from this statement may have caused John.
