Sailing Day Wentworth Falls, Feb 2007 Photo Gallery

Sunday's run at Wentworth Falls Lake was a day that produced record rains for the area, and the catchment area of Sydney.
For the brave sailors that arrived at the lake, namely Allan Pew and Bob Debenham, sailing was possible for short periods, and was enjoyed as was the BBQ. Mike and Trish James called in to say Hi and stayed for a short period before moving on.
The lake down by about one and a half feet was noticeably recovering towards the latter part of the day. A few locals, a car load of spectators from Sydney, and two Shipwrights from Garden Island, arrived and enjoyed themselves.
For those of us that turned up, it was an opportunity not only for sailing, but to renew the common bond that binds our members of Taskforce 72, that of our love of model boats and the opportunity to interact and impart our knowledge with each other.
We packed up at approx 2.30pm, and with weather considerations it was a very satisfying day.
