Fleet Base Victoria:
Fleet Base Victoria is the newest of TF72’s Fleet Bases. Whilst currently a small member base, we are growing steadily in numbers with members spread over a wide portion of Victoria.
Our fleet consists of a mixture of working models and those under construction. There is at least one battleship in our fleet plus some destroyers and escorts, and one member has a couple of submarines.
We sail on the 1st Sunday at Albert Park Lake commencing at 9am through to mid afternoon. Our sailing location is the 'Swan Picnic Area' which is located beside the Albert Sail Club and behind the Bob Jane Stadium for athletics. If you set the GPS to the corner of Aquatic Drive and Albert Road Drive, you can't miss us.
The picnic area has the usual amenities plus BBQ's, some picnic table seating and plenty of big Oak trees for the summer months. We can unload/load models from the sail clubs trailer parking area adjacent to our sailing location and leave our trailers there. Vehicles have plenty of options for parking in either Aquatic Drive or Albert Road Drive. There is even a small cafe nearby!

We are always looking for new members in Victoria. Victoria was once a powerhouse naval State (at one stage HMVS Cerberus was the most powerful warship in Australia).
If you are interested, drop us a line!
