Well done Russ & Tim.
People forget that Russ has to sub contract out to get the hulls done, but I just hope Tim doesn't have to wait 5 years to retail the hulls
like I did with AWD !!!!!
NO, I won't be ordering one, unfortunately they all look the same to me these days, but again, a grand effort to get this first model out
there in time for the expo.

Tim did a superb job on the hull for this one as are all his hulls. Hope to get him approval to sell them quicker than with the Spanish. It will prove to be a popular model eventually as it will become the backbone of the RAN for many decades from the late 2020's. It will change I'm sure as the HOBART did. There are lots of common part, weapons and systems with the HOBART Class.

I am sure there will be quite the demand for the Type 26 hull when available, there will be nine RAN, and then there are the eight RN and 15 Canadian versions, plus several other navies are reported to be looking at the design, including the Brazilian's, Chileans, potentially the Singaporeans and possibly the Kiwi's.
Given all the Australian ones will be built by people in the association, I must admit I like the idea of building a Canadian one, given their lighter colour and different helicopter and mast design

Hi guys,
Latest imagery of the Canadian Navy's Type 26 variant. The changes from the RN and RAN versions is interesting.

Hi Guys
Ye during a visit to BAE Systems yards in Glasgow was allowed to models of all three types of 26 ,but as they are still in process of building these hulls changes will be made so will have to wait a while before building one
The Scotstoun yard was due to have a open day but that now cancelled due the virus so it gives me time to work on the ALBION/ BULWARK LPD superstructure and repair my other models
