Fleet Bases of Task Force 72

As with most large associations, groups tend to congregate to areas where they can meet regularly. With the population of Australia being so spread out, it was logical that groups would form in certain areas of the population.

From this TASK FORCE 72 “Fleet Bases” were formed. These areas are headed by a committee member voted to the position by their peers and report to the rest of the TASK FORCE on a regular basis, the activities that their Fleet Base has undertaken.

They often organise displays in their areas when hobby show organisers request. Members from other areas then travel to lend support and models to boost numbers and to generally have a good time and partake of their hospitality.

So far “Fleet Bases” have been established in Brisbane, Canberra, Newcastle and Wagga Wagga with the hub being based in the Sydney area, due to the high distribution of members to the area.
