INS GODAVARI looks very impressive. This class is an
interesting mix with a modified British hull and machinery,
Russian weapons and fire control and Dutch radar systems. |

GODAVARI is joined by several other models including a British
Frigate and a new Arliegh Burke Class DDG under construction. |

Karl Maurer from the ACT sets up his Type IX B U-boat model
for a sail. Karl is one of the leaders in the
building of operating submarine models in
Australia. He has also taken his models overseas
to regattas in Europe. |
