Christmas Sailing Day, Mt Penang 2006 Photo Gallery

Thursday's run at Mount Penang was a successful work in progress run for most attendees. WIP models included my Leopard, John Slater's Ardent and Wolfgang Nebart's Yamato. Huge, very impressive & scary. Funny how we kept out of its way. Can't wait until it is finished.

In training for next year's anchor award, Vince Fazio succeeded in being the first boat out & the first & only one sunk. It sank itself. ANZAC has so much power that the torque twists the hull so much that she lists with her gunnels under water as she hurtles forward. Having sunk herself, she then made it back to shore under water & full astern. I am not kidding. Who needs to build a submarine! Have a look at her later on going full astern.
