Sailing Day, Moss Vale August 2005 Photo Gallery

Another fine winters day in Moss Vale at Southern Highland Wines.   The cooler weather tended to keep a lot of members away this day.   It had been raining heavily in Sydney so many members decided to give it a miss only to find out later that the weather was cool but beautifully clear in the Southern Highlands.  Not to worry, a good time was had by those that made the trip.

Dave Manning's HMCS HAIDA.
The real HAIDA was a candian
built "Tribal" Class Destroyer of
WW2.   She is preserved as a museum
ship in Ontario, Canada.

Charles Robinson's new Liberty ship hull
on trial runs.  Many members give their
models a trial run with all the inner
workings in place prior to the fitting of
superstructure, masts and fittings.

Another of Dave Manning's lovely
models at sea on a beautiful day.

Craig Laughton's HMAS HAWKESBURY
a HUON Class mine hunter heads out
on another mission.

The "Mission" should you chose to accept
it - rescue this poor unfortunate hat.

Shane' pride and joy at anchor.
